WHITESNAKE "Slide It in (35th Anniversary Remaster)"

WHITESNAKE sortira son nouvel album 'Slide It in (35th Anniversary Remaster)' le 08 Mars 2019 via WARNER MUSIC. Le groupe fête les 35 ans de son premier album de platine 'Slide It In' sorti en 1984  et qui verra plusieurs nouvelles versions, dont un énorme coffret de sept disques.
La collection de 6 CD/DVD comprend des versions remasterisées des mixes anglais et américains de l'album, des enregistrements live et studio inédits, des vidéoclips, des extraits de concerts et une nouvelle entrevue avec David Coverdale, fondateur et chanteur principal de WHITESNAKE. Le coffret est accompagnée d'un livre relié de 60 pages contenant des photos rares et des souvenirs de l'époque.
Trois autres versions de "Slide It In" seront également disponibles le même jour. Un double CD "Deluxe Edition" comprend les nouveaux mixes britanniques et américains remasterisés, enrichis d'une sélection de titres bonus. La double-LP "Deluxe Edition" présente les nouveaux mixes britanniques et américains remasterisés. Enfin, une version monodisque inclut le nouveau mix américain remasterisé. La musique sera également disponible sous forme numérique.
Le coffret propose aussi des versions inédites de chaque titre de l'album, y compris des remixes du 35e anniversaire réalisés cette année, ainsi que des mixages de retour enregistrés en 1983. Le set comprend plus d'une douzaine d'enregistrements inédits en direct de 1984, dont un concert entier à Glasgow, en Écosse, et plusieurs chansons du dernier spectacle de Lord avec WHITESNAKE en Suède. Le disque final de la collection met au jour 30 titres qui couvrent des démos originales et des mixages pour des morceaux d'album, ainsi que des idées de chansons inachevées.
Un enregistrement inédit de WHITESNAKE interprétant la chanson "Ready An' Willing (Sweet Satisfaction)" en direct à Glasgow, Ecosse en 1984 peut être visionné ci-dessous. Le titre figure sur la prochaine édition du 35e anniversaire de l'album.

WHITESNAKE "Unzipped: Acoustic Adventues"

Après que WHITESNAKE ait terminé sa tournée estivale avec FOREIGNER, le groupe reviendra sur ses meilleures performances acoustiques avec "Unzipped: Acoustic Adventues". Cette collection de cinq CD / DVD rassemble les performances acoustiques enregistrées au cours des 20 dernières années, y compris des enregistrements en studio et en direct, des démos acoustiques, des vidéos de concert, des interviews et plus encore. La collection sera disponible le 19 octobre 2018. Le même jour, le label 'Rhino' sortira également "Unzipped" dans trois autres formats: single-CD, double-CD et double-LP.
Un DVD complète la collection avec des performances live et unplugged filmées autour du monde entre 1997 et 2015, y compris un spectacle acoustique complet enregistré au Cutting Room à New York en 2008.

WHITESNAKE "Doug Aldrich"

Doug Aldrich, guitariste de WHITESNAKE depuis 11 ans, quitte le groupe. Si David Coverdale a évoqué comme raison sur son compte Twitter la volonté du guitariste d’entamer une carrière solo, Doug Aldrich a tenu a démentir cette information mais a néanmoins remercié dans un communiqué « son frère David (Coverdale) pour une si longue route effectuée ensemble et tous les fans de WHITESNAKE pour leur soutien ».
Doug Aldrich a joué sur les deux derniers disques sortis par WHITESNAKE, Good To Be Bad (2008) et Forevermore (2011).

WHITESNAKE "Made in Britain"

Quelques mois après la sortie de l'album live Made In japan, le groupe nous revient avec un nouveau live intitulé Made in Britain qui sortira le 19 juin prochain
via Frontier Records.
