Le groupe sortira le 24 novembre 2017, sa nouvelle compilation 'Born To Touch Your Feelings - Best Of Rock Ballads'. Elle contiendra 17 des plus célèbres ballades ainsi que deux nouveaux titres enregistrés cet été.
Le chanteur Klaus Meine a révélé lors d'une interview radiophonique sur SiriusXM Town Hall, que leur maison de disques Sony Music "voulait que nous trouvions quelques titres bonus pour la collection des meilleurs ballades" et que nous sommes allés en studio avec des idées géniales ...

ANGRY BIRDS EVOLUTION "Tribute to Iron Maiden"

Pour Halloween, les développeurs de Rovio Entertainment, les créateurs du jeu 'Angry Birds' rend hommage à Iron Maiden en mettant sa mascotte Eddie dans une nouvelle version du jeu 'Angry Birds Evolution'.
Il y aura quatre évolutions du personnage pour représenter différents albums de l'histoire d'Iron Maiden. De plus, l'île aux oiseaux sera transformée en une oasis de heavy metal sur le thème d'Halloween avec une terre pleine d'hommages à Eddie, Iron Maiden et l'univers du heavy metal. Mais il faudra trouver le moyen de le débloquer en progressant dans le jeu pendant les quinze jours que durent la mise à jour spécial Halloween. Une fois débloqué, le personnage restera disponible en permanence.

ANVIL sortira le 19 janvier 2018 son nouvel album, 'Pounding The Pavement', via SPV / Steamhammer en version digipack (y compris un bonus track), une version en double gatefold, un téléchargement numérique et un stream. Le disque a été produit dans les studios Soundlodge à Rhauderfehn dans le nord-ouest de l'Allemagne, où ANVIL a trouvé non seulement la paix et la solitude nécessaires pour se concentrer sur leurs enregistrements, mais a également rencontré le propriétaire Jörg Uken, le producteur idéal pour leur travail ambitieux.

Kudlow dit: Je pense que rien ne pourrait mieux décrire la manière dont nous travaillons depuis quarante ans que 'Pounding The Pavement'. ANVIL a essayé pendant quatre décennies de gagner suffisamment d'argent pour survivre et continuer à faire de la musique.
